Using the description generator

The description generator uses a saved channel profile to create descriptions and tags that are aligned with your niche and channel style.

Set up a channel profile first

A channel profile gives TitleGen the context it needs to shape the output. You can scan a live YouTube channel or describe a channel manually.

Live channel analysis is usually the strongest option because it can learn from the channel's existing niche, tone, formatting patterns, calls to action, and keyword themes.

Generate a description

  1. 1Select the channel profile you want to use.
  2. 2Enter the title of the video.
  3. 3Optionally add target keywords you want included.
  4. 4Choose whether to include timestamps.
  5. 5Choose whether to include a socials section.
  6. 6Select Generate Description.
  7. 7Review and copy the description and tags.

Target keywords

Target keywords are optional. When supplied, they guide the generation. TitleGen does not automatically research or rewrite those keywords in this field, so enter only terms that are relevant to the video.

Timestamps and socials

The timestamps option adds a chapter-style section. Review the generated times and change them to match the final edit before publishing.

The socials option can add a social-links section. Replace any placeholders with your real links before uploading the description to YouTube.

Descriptions and tags

The generated description and tags are displayed separately so they can be copied into the appropriate YouTube fields. Hashtags may be used internally by the generator, but the visible tags area is intended for tags.

Always check generated timestamps, URLs, calls to action, and factual statements before publishing.
