Terms of Service
Welcome to TitleGen (“we”, “our”, “us”), an AI-powered platform for YouTube creators, marketers, and businesses. TitleGen is operated by TitleGen Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TitleGen website, applications, tools, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using TitleGen, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old to use TitleGen. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
TitleGen provides AI-assisted tools for YouTube creators, including title generation, descriptions, accompanying tags and keywords, focused topic and niche research, Channel DNA analysis, and related creator tools.
Title generation uses TitleGen's Niche-Locked Logic. Channel DNA may be used to shape descriptions, accompanying tags, and related contextual outputs.
TitleGen does not guarantee search rankings, impressions, click-through rate, views, subscribers, monetisation, revenue, or any other YouTube performance outcome.
YouTube Studio and other relevant platform analytics remain the source of actual channel and video performance data.
3. AI Providers
TitleGen uses third-party artificial intelligence services to provide AI-powered features.
Our primary AI provider is Google Gemini. We may also use OpenAI as a fallback provider where necessary to complete requests or maintain availability of the Service.
We may change, update, or add AI models and service providers where reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, or maintain the Service.
Further information about how information is processed by TitleGen and our service providers is available in our Privacy Policy.
4. Channel DNA and Public YouTube Information
When you request a Channel DNA scan, TitleGen may process publicly available information from the relevant YouTube channel, including the channel name and information from up to the 50 most recent public videos.
This may include public video titles, descriptions, and related public channel or video information used to identify patterns such as tone, style, recurring topics, and other characteristics relevant to the feature.
Channel DNA analysis does not guarantee that every inferred characteristic will be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing generated outputs before relying on or publishing them.
5. User Inputs and AI-Generated Content
You remain responsible for the prompts, instructions, topics, text, channel information, and other content you submit to TitleGen.
You grant TitleGen the limited rights necessary to process that information for the purpose of providing, securing, administering, and operating the Service.
As between you and TitleGen, we do not claim ownership of the prompts you provide or the AI-generated outputs produced for you. Any legal rights that may exist in generated outputs remain subject to applicable law and third-party rights.
AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, inaccurate information, similarities to content generated for other users, or material that is unsuitable for your intended use.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before publishing, distributing, relying upon, or using them commercially.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use TitleGen responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not use the Service to:
- Break applicable laws or regulations.
- Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights.
- Generate, publish, or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, deliberately deceptive, or otherwise illegal material.
- Attempt to bypass security measures, usage controls, rate limits, or restrictions.
- Interfere with, damage, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated systems to abuse the Service or create unreasonable levels of traffic.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide shared access to an account unless a TitleGen plan expressly permits it.
7. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.
You must provide accurate account information and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorisation.
8. Free Plans, Paid Plans, and Fair Use
TitleGen may offer free and paid plans with different features, usage allowances, and service limits.
Current prices, billing periods, and included features are displayed on the relevant pricing or checkout page before purchase.
Where a paid plan is described as providing unlimited generations, access remains subject to reasonable fair-use, security, and technical controls designed to prevent automated abuse, account sharing, excessive machine-generated traffic, or activity that materially affects the Service for other customers.
Fair-use controls are not intended to restrict normal individual use of TitleGen.
9. Subscriptions and Payments
TitleGen offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are processed through our payment partner Lemon Squeezy.
By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorise the applicable recurring charges shown at checkout until the subscription is cancelled.
Prices, billing intervals, taxes, currency, renewal information, and other applicable payment information will be presented during the checkout process.
All payments are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or mandatory consumer rights.
Payments may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy's applicable buyer, billing, and payment terms.
10. Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring TitleGen subscription through the available account settings or billing portal.
Cancellation takes effect immediately. When a paid subscription is cancelled, access to paid TitleGen features ends when the cancellation is completed and future recurring subscription charges will stop.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for amounts already paid.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any refund, cancellation, cooling-off, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using TitleGen at any time and may permanently delete your account using the available account controls.
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of a breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, security threats, unlawful activity, non-payment, or conduct that risks harm to TitleGen, our providers, infrastructure, or other users.
Where reasonably practicable, we may provide notice or an opportunity to remedy a breach before termination. Immediate action may be taken where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud-prevention, serious abuse, or protection of the Service.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, software, design, branding, trademarks, interfaces, proprietary logic, functionality, and other original components of the TitleGen platform are owned by or licensed to TitleGen Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms provide you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your account and plan.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit TitleGen's proprietary software, systems, design, or functionality without written permission, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
13. Third-Party Services
TitleGen relies on third-party services and infrastructure, which may include Google, OpenAI, YouTube, Vercel, Lemon Squeezy, and other providers required to operate the Service.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms, policies, availability, technical restrictions, service limits, and changes.
We are not responsible for independent third-party websites, products, platforms, APIs, or services that are outside our reasonable control.
14. Availability and Changes to the Service
TitleGen is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from technical problems.
Features may be added, modified, replaced, restricted, or discontinued as the Service develops, including where changes arise from third-party APIs, AI providers, platform policies, security requirements, technical limitations, or legal obligations.
15. No Performance Guarantee
TitleGen provides software tools and AI-generated suggestions. Results depend on factors outside our control, including your content, topic, audience, competition, platform behaviour, and viewer response.
We make no guarantee that using any generated title, description, tag, keyword, Channel DNA analysis, research result, or other output will improve SEO, search rankings, YouTube recommendations, click-through rate, watch time, impressions, views, subscribers, revenue, monetisation eligibility, or business performance.
16. Limitation of Liability
TitleGen is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties or guarantees regarding the performance, availability, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the Service or any AI-generated output.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TitleGen Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, data, or other losses arising from or connected with your access to, use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Service or any generated output.
You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unsuitable, or similar to outputs produced for other users, and you remain responsible for reviewing and verifying them before use.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
17. Your Statutory Rights
If you use TitleGen as a consumer, you may have statutory rights in addition to the rights contained in these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or reduce any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our providers, pricing structure, security requirements, or legal and regulatory obligations.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised update date. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers, disputes relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
